Hands-on, work along workshop creating an IoT System with dashboard on your PC and/or your Smart phone using ThingSpeak platform

IoT Systems This IoT system will leverage the ThingSpeak platform to create, in a record time, your IoT system dashboard with indicators, numerical display and graphical data plots and email alert notification among others features. DeVry university IEEE online Student branch proudly presents IoT workshop using ThingSpeak platform. The topics will be covered in the workshop are: - Using an ESP32 Microcontroller based IoT systems - How to use ThingSpeak platform - How to create dashboard with indicators and real time data streaming plots. - How to enable data visualization for your system - How to download and export collected data - How to collaborate and share your dashboard with others - How to access your system from anywhere using an internet connection - How to access your IoT system using your phone Virtual:

IoT From A to Z

In this talk, we will cover some IoT basics, IoT Components, Web interface, and MQTT broker. We will show you how to install an MQTT broker (Mosquitto) on your computer. We will learn how to publish and subscribe to specific topics. You will learn how to install the Node-Red platform and add some useful extensions to it. Node-Red is a flow-based platform that allows you to quickly create web-based user interfaces to interact with your IoT system. Please have your ESP32 microcontroller and Laptop ready to follow along. You would also need to have the Arduino IDE installed along with the ESP32 libraries installed.
